Shop Helper / Junior Service Advisor

About the Role

We’re a friendly, family-owned neighborhood automotive repair shop in Northeast L.A. looking for a reliable Helper/Assistant. You’ll learn all sides of the business—supporting technicians in the shop and helping at the front counter.

What You’ll Do

  • Back-of-house: shop care, parts handling, light service tasks under technician direction
  • Front-of-house: greet customers, answer phones, help with repair orders, stand in for the Service Advisor as needed

Requirements

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Some automotive experience
  • Valid driver’s license & clean record
  • Good communication skills

Pay & Benefits

Base pay: $43,000–$57,000 per year (DOE) + weekly bonus opportunities

Somos un taller familiar en el noreste de L.A. y buscamos un Ayudante confiable. Aprenderás todas las áreas del negocio: apoyo a técnicos en el taller y atención en mostrador.

Tus Funciones

  • Taller: orden y limpieza, manejo de refacciones, tareas ligeras bajo indicación del técnico
  • Mostrador: recibir clientes, contestar llamadas, apoyar con órdenes de trabajo y cubrir al Asesor cuando se requiera

Requisitos

  • Bilingüe inglés/español
  • Alguna experiencia automotriz
  • Licencia vigente y récord limpio
  • Buenas habilidades de comunicación

Sueldo base: $43,000–$57,000 al año (según experiencia) + bonos semanales
